About Our Chef

Chef Corey Hooks serves as our Executive Chef and Director of Broyhill Center Catering. A Johnson and Wales University graduate, Chef Corey also continues his decade-long tenure as a CCC&TI Culinary Arts instructor.

Chef Corey brings passion and years of experience to JEBCC. During his tenure as the Executive Chef of Bistro 127, the restaurant was awarded Catawba Valley’s Best Chef in 2012. Chef Corey is renowned for his hors d’oeuvres, main courses, and desserts. He and his team here are constantly in high demand as they add elevated, elegant cuisine to events and celebrations.
