Poe has always been regarded as America’s most macabre author–and for good reason. His life was far more bizarre and tragic than any of his fiction or poetry. Using anecdotes, analysis, and large doses of humor, Dr. Engel reveals both the brilliant creativity and the abnormal eccentricities of this most fascinating of writers.
Each ticket includes a delicious buffet dinner of sirloin beef tips with gravy, margarita chicken, roasted rosemary potatoes, vegetable medley, garden salad, warm rolls, tea and lemonade, and dessert (seasonal cobbler or chocolate Oreo trifle) by Colson Park Catering.
Doors open at 5:30pm. Dinner is at 6:00pm and Dr. Engel will begin at 7:00pm. Seating is limited. Content may not be suitable for all ages.
